Cemetery Information

The Mt. Ida CMC Cemetery has many old graves dating back to the mid to late 1800s. The names and dates have been worn off many graves because of weather and time. If you would like to purchase a burial plot in the cemetery or make a donation to the cemetery fund (for cemetery upkeep and repair of old graves) please contact Sherwood Leavins.

THANK YOU to everyone that gives and works to maintain our church cemetery. Many of our graves are more than 100 years old. We do strive to honor our past of those who have gone on before. Honor the saints of our church and community.

You are welcome to beautify the monuments of your loved ones. However, please maintain that beauty. When items used are past their beauty, please clean them up.

We do have someone that mows and takes care of the grass and maintain our cemetery. You are welcome to donate to the cemetery fund through our giving page on this website. We use Tithe.ly as our online giving provider.
